Czech pressed crystal Matubo Rivoli’s are designed mainly for being sewn around with seed beads or bezelled settings. The Rivoli shape resembles the point cut of a diamond with the addition of facets in a circle that meet in the center of the stone. The back of the stone comes to a point as well, with a small table at the center. The back side of the rivoli is usually covered by a thin silver or gold reflective layer with protective varnish, which creates a mirror effect and enhances the shine and sparkle of the stone.  An advantage of Matubo Rivoli’s is their lower price and array of colors compared to other crystal brands
